Pug Life started because our founder’s pug, Winston, had a talent for escaping every harness on the market. Between his barrel chest, sensitive breathing, and legendary pug attitude, finding gear that actually worked became a full-time obsession. After watching him wiggle out of his fifth “escape-proof” harness in a hardware store parking lot, we knew there had to be a better way. That’s when we decided to design harnesses specifically for the unique challenges of flat-faced, thick-bodied, strong-willed dogs who think rules are merely suggestions.
